I admit what I’m about to post isn’t penned directly from me, my cousin sent it me. You know one of those emails that goes around so maybe you’ve read it before. I hadn’t until I got it. But what struck me about is the simple truth  of it. This is really what every woman should know:

What Every Woman Should Know

I know this may sound incredibly corny. I was exposed to Byron Katie work by one of my favorite coaches.  Yes I also have a coach. Byron Katie is an incredible woman who was depressed and suicidal. She turned her life around by taking a good look at what she was thinking and why she was thinking it. It’s called doing The Work and worth doing.

I found the post about I Hate My Husband so very interesting. I have been there, despising a certain man.

How To Seduce a Man – Do The Work!

Yes that’s yours truly suggesting you give a smile to attract a man into your life.

Smiling shows that you’re interested and open for communication.

I’ve asked men what they find more appealing  – dancing alone all seductively or giving a smile. All have told me a smile with eye contact does it for them. It’s the first signal they respond to.

Not only that like attracts like so it’s wise to smile. When you’re feeling happy about life you’ll attract other smiling people into your territory . Unless of course you feel at home with the unhappy bunch.

A man can’t make you happy. A man can add to your happiness but certainly he can’t be the reason for your happiness. If he is I do question your neediness.

This may sound uncaring and unfeeling but should my man leave me I won’t fall to pieces with misery. I’m alive and that makes me happy.

How To Seduce a Man – Smile

In response to Terry’s Blog about a post where she wants to wait until she is married before she has sex. Terry also asks about women in the sex business. It is known that women that are in the sex business make it a point not to bond emotionally and usually they have the rule of no kissing so as to avoid the whole emotional thing.

There’s the thing about knowing what you get before you marry. Look, I’m not of a religious faith that says you should wait until you’re married nor am I a nun. I just believe that if you’ve got a man after you don’t wind up in bed too soon even if you’re wanting to.

I’m certainly not denying that women have no sexual feelings because they do. But I’m also of the belief that men like to be the pursuers so take your time.  It just seems that way to many times men loose interest after women have had sex with a man. That’s primararily because the man has now released his sexual energy. This can be compared to when you want something badly and then when you have it, it’s like oh great I have that now what next.

On the other hand there is the argument of not knowing what you’re getting in bed before you get married. Good sex can be learned so that argument doesn’t really count. Good sex comes down to technique. And boy some women, don’t i just know have made the mistake of believing every thing is just fab because he’s suc a pistol in bed. It’s called chemical bonding. You and him may be incredible together in bed but another women could find him a complete bore in bed.

The tradegy is many women are addicted to men that are no good for them just because they have a fantastic time in bed with them.

So I think it’s perfectly okay to wait until marriage to get your first dose of sex because you can learn it all. Besides I’ve heard that virgins have no preconceived ideas about good or bad sex. It can be a let down if your last lover was a stud and then your new man doesn’t know a thing. But these days there is so much information around no one needs to feel silly or stupid not even the first time. Read a book like 500 Lovemaking Tips and Secrets before the wedding night!

Have you ever been kissed by some body that you really liked and then when it got down to kissing time you were disappointed?

It’s unfortunate to dump some body just because they don’t meet your kissing standards. Men are easy to train – just let them think they’re the ones leading – make it fun. If he’s a bad kisser you can subtly turn him into a good one by kissing him the way you like to kiss.

Men do tell us girls fibs.  They lie about a couple of things. I know this is true because I have read about it out of their own mens journals. And my men friends have admitted that it’s true.

• Cooking – they tell women that they love their cooking. Yes they do. If he offers to take you out a lot to save you from “slaving in the kitchen” it could be because he doesn’t enjoy your cooking. I’d think about cooking food that makes him feel good.
• Looking fat – stop asking him that question! Men don’t know what to answer you when you ask if you look like a hippo. They don’t understand this question. Afterall he never asks you if he looks chunky now does he?
• Using his razor – men say it’s okay for you to use their razor to shave your legs but actually they hate having all your hair in their razors. But they hate you having stubbly or unshaven legs even more, so they say it’s okay to use their razor. Have your own razor on standby.
• Seeing naked women. Men love oogling naked women, they just say they don’t to keep you happy. Listen I’ve had even the nicest and cleanest guys admit to me that they enjoy eyeing naked women.
• Porn – well even guys that say they don’t like it seem to like when they’re exposed to it.
• Your family – he’ll say he likes your family even if he is aroused to feelings of violence in their presence. He’ll lie about it even more intensly if he’s very into you and is planning to take the relationship to the next level.

So it appears men also lie just to keep the peace.

The Things Men Lie About

I just read and commented about Some Excellent Advice About Men on Terry MacDonald’s blog.

She says she got some excellent  dating advice after her cousin got married.

Basically it means that men who still living in their parent’s home at age 35 aren’t worth dating because basically you’ll be having a big baby to look after.

This is true in many cases. As I said on Terry’s Blog is that i have found men that can take care of them selves which means laundry, cleaning and eating  to be more mature and open to new ideas. Even if he does pay some body to clean and iron his shirts it shows that he can take care of him self. These gents are generally more prosperous but not necessarily loyal! You know the player type of personality.

There are exceptions though to this rule. I have noticed that amongst Italians it is often the case that these men prefer to live at home till they marry. Often they are rich and don’t expect their wives to pick up after them – she will have a cleaner because he can afford to pay one. He might though compare your cooking to his mother’s.

But I still say rather be a rich man’s darling than a poor man’s slave!

As for me I just couldn’t tolerate a man that needs mothering. I was once married for 3 weeks because this man’s desire for mothering only surfaced after we tied the knot but luckily I cottoned onto this pretty quickly.

The thing is I would have never married him if I had of known how he felt about numerous things which just were intolerable for me.

I reckon asking as many questions as possible is a good idea before you get married or think of pursueing a relationship. How else are you going to know if you’ll ever be compatible?

So ask that question first – before you even agree to go on a date.

But yeah generally men that live at home till they’re 35 are odd.  Ask that question first.

Congrats to Dove for revealing the truth behind the “perfect woman”.

The irony is that most women do not believe they’re good enough. They think they have to look like a glossy magazine cover to win love. It’s ridiculous because when I ask men if they’d rather have a super model or some body they can talk and have fun with they’d all rather have fun.

Please ladies this is not a license for letting your self go. Because if you truly like yourself you’ll enjoy who you are and will strive to be healthy and fresh.

Tra la la… I can hear all the other cosmetic industry saying that’s not fair cause Dove also sells beauty products. Sure they do. They don’t promise that you’ll look like glam queen. They’re saying use our products to groom yourself.

I’m a woman and I’ll admit I love the luxury of a bubble bath and body lotion. Come on it feels so good to pamaper yourself. But I certainly ain’t gonna even try and look like a glam queen cos I’m not.

But still I know how to make men want me!
