I ‘m always amazed when women tell me there are no good men, or all the men have been taken.

Me, I seem to find delightful specimens every where.

So my pick for today is John McAfee. You know he is the dude who was behind the McAfee Anti Virus Software.

So he’s not the youngest but then neither am I. 45 to be exact. I’m a ripe fruit just like John.

I have a man so I’m not after him- but he is sexy, don’t you think?

If you’ve always believed that margarine is the better option because it’s less fatty than butter then you are dead wrong.

Sorry but margarine is a highly processed food.

Now don’t be fooled by the margarine manufacturers who have huge budgets for marketing their margarine as a health alternative to butter.

Fact is margarine is a highly processed food which has zero nutritional value.

I swear it’s true.

Spreading marg on your bread, potatoes and what ever else is paramount to melting your Tupperware and spreading that on your food.

Yuck. Serious.

I know butter is full of animal fat but believe me it’s better than margarine any day. Any day.

Read on because this is interesting.

Butter and margarine have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.

Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than100 years.

And now, for Margarine..

Very high in transfatty acids.

Triple risk of coronaryheart disease.

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold.

Lowers quality of breast milk.

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here’s the most disturbing fact…. HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC..

This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

You can try this yourself:

Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

So Sister I sure hope you’ll consider switching to butter if you’ve believed margarine is the wiser alternative.

Look, I’ll tell you honestly I’ve been a vegetarian for years and I hardly indulge in diary products - okay I’ll admit I’m a TOTAL sucker for ice cream. But I’ve discovered soy and fruit based alternatives.

I never drink milk. But I prefer butter to margarine on my food, corn or toast. You know what I mean.

I believe a bit of butter is better than a ton of margarine.

Actually I think he must be around 60 something by now , considering I’m 45 already,

But everybody knows that he has the sexiest voice around - okay there are some others -like Barry White who really knows how to purr. But Barry is dead and Leonard is still alive and kicking.

So maybe you are fat but you can loose weight. Don’t allow other people to say to you but the women in our family or like this. Maybe they are but you can be an exception. Then again there are plenty of men that enjoy curvy women. But you’ll only feel sexy being curvy if you enjoy being who you from within your soul. I tell you I have less and less bad hair days - not because my hair is so perfect but because I focus on the beauty of it. If it looks crappy for me open, I’ll put it up. I’ll always find a way to style it so that I’m happy.

I don’t mean to come across as kitschy or a a wild happy clapper but I know that God loves me no matter what. And that helps heaps.

But my question is why not? I mean people use the internet all the time to look for all sorts of information. I see nothing wrong with it.

I’ve met fabulous men online.

And besides it’s perfectly acceptable to use social networking sites. Infact one is looked at with a weird glance if one doesn’t know what social networking is.

These days so many people are spending their time online (sad but true - I still love the great outdoors) that it just makes sense to go online.

There are of course tips to setting up online profiles that are alluring. And by alluring I am not saying that you should lie. The truth always catches up with one. Always. But there certainly isn’t anything wrong with putting your best face forward, and you should if you want to attract a high quality man.

Another thing is you should know from the beginning what kind of man you want. The problem is too many women, and I see this with people generally, are clueless to what they actually want. Either deep down they are afraid to ask for what they want or they believe that wanting something is just wishful thinking. I guess it pretty much does remain wishful thinking if you never put your plan into action.

So if you want to meet a man for life, or for part of anyway, don’t feel awkward about approaching the online world of dating. Just think there are hundreds of people coming to the internet daily and many of them or men. Regardless of what you may think there are many sincere men looking for a woman they can cherish.

Sure there are men with hidden agendas but then again I believe that there are also women who don’t say what they mean and mean what they say. But if you take the time to become aware it’s quite easy to spot individuals that have strange intentions.

What you need when you go online is a guide to:

• Setting up your profile.
• What photo to show of yourself.
• What to write about yourself.
• How to communicate.
• Which signals to look out for.
